Happy Wednesday!!!! After a long weekend and long month of May we are entering summer month. You know as Amy been growing and is more aware of things, I am also learning on ways to keep her busy. This past weekend we took a class called #Bambini, I do not know if parents seen the Baby Chanel, you can see a bit of #Bambini on there. I gave it a try before I sign up, for those mothers in the Rockville area the class starts this FRIDAY they have a 9:30 and 10:30 am at #BUYBUYBABY. This class is a good way to help mothers get a bit of engird burning as well as helping baby interact with others. Seem like these days kids want to sit and watch TV. I am not going to sit here and say I do not let Amy watch TV I’m super guilty of it, however, I am very specific on what she can watch and how long. What I notice she really only pays attention to the singing part then she loose interest. Of course there are days that I do not even turn the TV on for her because I don’t want to make it a bad habit.

I know showing TV to Amy might sound similar but I feel the difference is that she is time on it and again she looses interest when the singing stops. I think it hard enough to get my husband off his phone I do not need our baby on it either, which is why I try to set rule of no using phone in front of baby or at least limit our self the use of it.

Something that caught my attention on tv kids channel is that they advertise ABCmouse.com which it seem like it for ages 2-8 years old. I would like to know if there are any mothers out there who use this program and if you can tell us about it. I do not know how I feel about a 2 year old on a tablet more so on this program. I think going to library, attending children activities is a better way to show kids because I think that once you get them on a phone or tablet they lose interest to doing some hands on playing. There are a few close people I know that are starting that “here my phone or tablet” trend with their kids, just to keep them calm. Yes it works but then getting them off it is hard when you want to do family time they rather be on their tablet playing games. I know we can not avoid electronics but I rather let Amy watch 30 minutes of Mickey Mouse Club House then hours and hours on a phone or tablet.

Again, if there are any parents who have a children 2 and over and are reading this I would like to know if you have tried that ABCmouse.com and let me know if it works for your child.

Excuse my Look, I just finish Bambini Class
