Baby Skin

As the cold here in Maryland approaches I like to keep Amy’s skin as fresh as possible. A few days ago I notice that her skin was much dryer even though I keep up with lotion on her skin, so what did I do like many mothers I went online did research. Her dry spots began on her leg and then I notice on her elbow, so as concern mother I figure let me take her for a quick look at her doctor’s on Friday. The doctor recommended that I use vaseline on those spots and see if it goes away. However, I been doing that this weekend and doesn’t seem to help much. So I figure I go to the store and will research on lotion that does not have any fragrance. I have been using Johnson for babies, but now I started to use Aveeno for Delicate skin.  I like to hear from other mothers who can recommend any other lotions that they have use for baby skin.

How about rashes, everyone first seems to turn to Destin, however my sister and a friend recommended aquaphor and it does a quick recovery on any rash and even scratches on the face. So I also have began using it for her dry spots on her elbows and I can say that it really has help better then vaseline. Not saying that Destin does not help but I feel it takes a bit longer to work.

When it comes to babies skin I learn that what might work for one baby might not for another, so I totally think mothers should buy small samples of the products before they actually go out and buy the big bottle. Every baby skin is different and reacts in different ways. Now that winter has officially started lets keep our babies skin as moist as possible so that they can maintain that soft baby skin we love. Mother please comment below and let me know what products works for you to help other new mothers with their purchases.
